Valerie Murphy’s real estate career in the greater Palm Springs area came on the heels of a very successful 20-year career as the owner of an insurance agency focusing on employee benefits. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, keen listening and negotiating skills, and ability to work successfully with every kind of personality served her well in her dealings with insurance industry underwriters and resulted in the best results for her clients. Her many years of great success in the insurance industry now allow her to bring her drive, focus, and critical business instincts to her buyers and sellers as she guides them to successful outcomes.
A native Californian, Valerie was born and raised in Pasadena. Her family’s frequent visits to the Coachella Valley resulted in an easy and natural transition when she made La Quinta her home, where she lives with her husband. Together they have bought, sold, and managed many rental homes and have also had experience in 1031 Exchanges. Valerie is proud to be associated with Bennion Deville Homes. Being part of the largest residential real estate firm in the Coachella Valley offers her access to a network with over 800 REALTORS® providing an invaluable asset to her buyers and sellers.
In addition to her passion for real estate, Valerie has long been involved with philanthropic efforts - from acting as the Co-Chair of the first-ever Cattle Baron’s Ball in Southern California raising thousands of dollars for The American Cancer Society, to leadership positions on various Boards, including the Annual Gala for the Ronald McDonald House.
Valerie is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS®, and the California Desert Association of REALTORS®.
